Usually SMEs tend to purchase e-mail accounts from hosting firms on a specific number and capacity. This purchase is usually based on annual payments. For example, a SME can purchase 10 e-mail addresses each having 5MB capacity for $100, and continue to pay annual fees every year to keep these accounts active. With this system, all the e-mails that the SME receives are collected on the host firm’s computing system. Therefore, each time when the SME sends or receives e-mails, it makes an Internet connection and performs this action through the server of the hosting firm, causing a great traffic on the Internet and decreasing the communication performance. SME also encounters problems with sending or receiving large sized mails due to the limited e-mail capacity purchased. Even when mail addresses with larger capacities are purchased, the problem persists because it takes so long to send or receive such e-mails. However, since SureBox includes the e-mail server within its structure, the SME using SureBox does not face this problem and can provide an unlimited number of e-mail accounts with unlimited capacity. Thus, each personnel can have more than one e-mail account if necessary. Also with the e-mail server within the company, the internal mails are exchanged quickly trough SureBox without connecting to the Internet, leaving the Internet line available for other use. And since there are no limits to the capacity of the e-mails exchanged when SureBox is used, it takes only five minutes to send an e-mail with 100MB capacity. Therefore, high-capacity files are exchanged via e-mails in a much more faster and cheaper between SMEs, instead of transferring them with CDs, disks etc.
